Integrative Medicine takes into account the whole person, looking at all aspects of the person’s life and treats the underlying medical issues. Integrative Medicine is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together. Think of each symptom as a piece of the puzzle and when we can put all the pieces together we can solve the puzzle. 

Integrative Medicine utilizes Traditional Medicine/Medication, Holistic Treatments, Complementary and Alternative Treatments, Dietary Interventions and Nutritional Supplements.

Integrative Medicine addresses:

What to expect at your appointment:

Your first consultative appointment will be 60-90 minutes. Getting to the ROOT cause of the symptoms requires detective work. This will be done through a comprehensive assessment, looking at current symptoms/behaviors, past health history, family history, biomarkers, blood work and advanced specialty testing. We will take a close look at your diet, food sensitivities, gut health, genetics and nutritional biomarkers to determine what imbalances may be.

We use a variety of testing options such as blood work through Quest and LabCorp. Advanced Diagnostic testing including but not limited to Urine Organic Acid Test (OAT), IgG Food Allergy Testing, Comprehensive Stool Testing, Amino Acid Profile, Genesight testing, Genetic testing including MTHFR.

Your initial follow up appointment will include a review of all test results, nutritional counseling, and a comprehensive individual treatment plan. If needed a dietary plan and recommendations will be discussed with our experienced Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist. Who will develop a bio-individual dietary plan to ensure you are eating a well-balanced diet for a healthy life style. Our Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist will inspire you to take the necessary steps to help you feel better, by guiding and educating you every step of the way. Nutritional follow-ups will be discussed with our experienced Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist based on individual needs.

Medication management:

For some medication may be the right answer and we will work closely with you to find the right medication for you.

If you are on medication and it is not working, we will work closely with you to determine what the right course of treatment will be. By addressing the underlying causes issues, and getting to the root cause, we will manage the medication and make changes as needed.
